CONFIRMATION
"Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit; for it had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them a nd they received the Holy Spirit" (Acts 8:14-17).(Catechism of the Catholic Church)
At St Anne’s, if you are a baptised Catholic and Year 9 or older in school, you can prepare for Confirmation. Preparation usually begins in March with the celebration of the Sacrament in May. We meet each week for Sunday mass at 10:30am and then afterwards as a group for about one hour. There will be an overnight residential.
